Frequently Asked Questions
Find answers to common questions about our products, services, and partnership opportunities.
What products does ModernAgriPro focus on?
ModernAgriPro focuses on wholesale propagation trays, flats and inserts, carry trays, and nursery pots and containers. The catalog also includes related growing and garden accessories. Browse the product catalog and send the SKU, intended use, quantity, and destination for a specification-based quotation.
How do I choose cell count or pot size?
Start with crop, transplant stage, and bench / automation constraints—not only a round number.
- Propagation trays → How to Choose Propagation Trays
- Flats & inserts → How to Choose Flats & Inserts
- Carry trays → How to Choose Carry Trays
- Nursery pots → How to Choose Nursery Pots
Should I compare PS vs PP or thermoform vs injection on the FAQ alone?
No. Treat material and process as SKU-level specs. The propagation-tray guide explains buyer trade-offs; confirm grade and thickness on the product page or RFQ.
Where are category pages?
Browse Propagation Trays, Flats & Inserts, Carry Trays, and Nursery Containers. For a specific model, use the search on the product catalog. Include the SKU and required quantity when requesting a quote.
Can you do custom color, logo, or cell layout?
ModernAgriPro supports customization enquiries for color, logo, dimensions, and tray or cell layout. Send a drawing or sample reference, material preference, color reference, logo artwork, and expected quantity. The quote will confirm feasibility, whether new tooling is required, sample approval steps, MOQ, and timing for the requested specification.
What should I send for an OEM quote?
- 2D/3D drawing or physical sample reference
- Material preference (if known)
- Color (Pantone / sample) and logo artwork
- Estimated annual / first-order quantity
- Destination and preferred Incoterm to discuss
Submit via Contact or WhatsApp.
Is there a separate MOQ for custom vs standard SKUs?
MOQ is quoted per SKU and specification. Existing designs and new tooling can require different quantities; material, color, logo, packaging, and production setup can also affect the quotation. Send your first-order quantity and expected repeat volume. Treat published quantities as references and confirm the final MOQ in your written quote.
How long does custom tooling take?
Custom tooling time depends on the approved design, mold complexity, and sampling requirements. Send a drawing or sample reference, material, dimensions, and order quantity. Request separate dates for tooling, first samples, sample approval, and bulk production in the written quotation.
Can I get samples before a bulk order?
Request samples before committing to a bulk order. Send the product name or SKU, required sample quantity, delivery address, and what you need to test. Sample availability, preparation time, charges, and freight must be confirmed before dispatch. For a custom design, include a drawing or sample reference.
Who pays sample freight?
Confirm sample charges and freight responsibility before dispatch. Send the delivery country, postcode, sample quantity, and any preferred courier or courier-account instructions. Request a written breakdown of sample cost, courier cost, and any other agreed charges so the total is clear before you approve shipment.
How many sample pieces can I request?
Depends on SKU and carton break. State your test plan (e.g. fill-line trial, greenhouse plot). ModernAgriPro will propose a sample quantity after checking stock/production.
Sample lead time?
Sample lead time depends on whether the request uses an existing reference or needs custom material, color, tooling, or preparation. Send the SKU, sample quantity, delivery address, and test deadline. Ask for the sample preparation date and courier transit estimate separately; sample approval and bulk production follow their own schedules.
After samples, what next?
After testing samples, record the approved material, dimensions, color, fit, and any required changes. Confirm the final specification, order quantity, packing, price, production schedule, payment terms, and shipping terms in writing before issuing the PO. See Shipping & Logistics for the packing and freight checklist.
What payment methods do you accept?
Ask for the accepted payment methods, invoice currency, beneficiary name, bank details, and responsibility for transfer fees with your quotation. Use only payment instructions confirmed for the legal selling entity. Verify any unexpected change in payment details through an established contact before sending funds.
What deposit / balance split is typical?
There is no single deposit and balance split for every custom order. Request the deposit amount, balance amount, payment milestones, and due dates in the quotation. For tooling or samples, ask whether those charges are separate. Use the agreed invoice and sales contract as the payment reference.
Can I pay after seeing the bill of lading?
Payment against a bill of lading is available only if specifically agreed in your sales contract. Before ordering, confirm the balance-payment trigger, which document is required, and how shipping documents or cargo release will be handled. Do not assume that receiving a copy of the bill of lading changes the agreed payment date.
Do you offer credit terms (Net 30/60)?
Net 30 or Net 60 credit terms are not automatic. If you need credit, state the requested term, order value, and purchasing history in your enquiry. Credit availability and any approval conditions must be confirmed in the written sales agreement before you place an order.
Invoices and company name on documents
Before placing an order, request the legal selling entity name and address for your commercial invoice and contract. Confirm that the purchase order, invoice, packing list, and payment instructions refer to the agreed parties. If bank details change, verify the change through an established contact before making a payment.
Which Incoterms can we use?
Discuss FOB / CIF / DDP (and others) as options on the RFQ. Offered Incoterms are confirmed on your written quote. Full explainer: Shipping & Logistics.
Which port do you ship from?
The loading port is confirmed for each order in the written quotation and shipping arrangements. Provide your destination port or delivery postcode when requesting freight. Ask for both the port of loading and port of discharge to be stated clearly; the destination port alone does not identify where the shipment departs.
Do you support FCL and LCL?
Ask us to compare FCL (a full container load) and LCL (a shared container load) for your order. Send the SKU mix, quantities, destination, and any pallet requirements. The appropriate option depends on the packed volume, cargo handling, and freight quote; confirm the agreed method and packing in writing before shipment.
How long is ocean transit to my country?
Ocean transit depends on the origin and destination ports, shipping route, carrier, sailing schedule, and season. Send the delivery country, destination port or postcode, and required arrival date. Request a route-specific estimate that separates production, origin handling, ocean transit, and destination clearance. Carrier schedules and arrival dates can change.
What packing details should I request?
Pieces per carton, carton size/weight, nesting, palletization, and marks—checklist on Shipping & Logistics.
Production lead time before cargo is ready?
Production lead time depends on the SKU, order quantity, customization, approved samples, and the production schedule. Send your required cargo-ready date with the RFQ. Ask for a written production schedule and its starting conditions, such as specification approval and agreed payment. Cargo-ready time is separate from transit and customs clearance.
What if cartons arrive damaged?
Photograph the damage with carton labels and packing list before disposal; contact WhatsApp/email within the claim window your contract defines. Claim windows and required evidence are listed in your sales contract.
What if quantity or SKU mix is wrong?
Keep sealed cartons when possible; send photos + packing list + BL/AWB reference. ModernAgriPro will investigate against the approved packing list.
Do you replace defective trays/pots?
Defect definition (cracks, warp, dimensional out-of-tolerance) and remedy (replace / credit) belong in the sales contract. We do not publish a blanket “100% guarantee”; remedies follow your sales contract.
Who is the after-sales contact?
Email sales@modernagripro.com or use our Contact form for after-sales support. Include your PO or invoice number, product SKU, quantity affected, delivery date, and clear photos. Describe the issue and the resolution you are requesting so it can be checked against the approved order and sales contract.
Can you support reorders with the same packing list?
For a repeat order, send the previous PO or packing list and identify any changes in quantity, material, color, dimensions, or destination. Ask us to reconfirm the current specification, carton quantity, nesting arrangement, and carton marks before production. A previous order is a reference; the new approved order documents control the shipment.
